Mr. Scott Massed is a botanist and soil specialist. Mr. Massed’s experience includes plant taxonomy, soil profiling, baseline ecological monitoring, vegetation sampling protocols, project management, and review and implementation of environmental mitigation measures and plans of development. Since 2010, he has managed and executed ecological assessment field programs and field-based vegetation inventories, with emphasis in the southwestern United States. Throughout his career he has worked extensively with federal land managers, non-profit organizations, environmental consultants, and universitiesm to conduct rangeland health assessments, large-scale special status species surveys, inspections for environmental compliance, and soil characterization including verification of ecological sites.
