Gloria Sargent

Plant Ecologist & GIS Specialist

Ms. Sargent is a plant expert and a GIS specialist who started her professional ecological consulting career in 2012. Her expertise includes quantitative and qualitative field vegetation studies involving the collection of vegetation cover, biomass, woody plant density, species diversity, and noxious weed data for reclaimed lands, primarily located on coal and hard rock mines throughout the Intermountain West. Her involvement includes the implementation of GIS cartography, GPS navigation, statistical analyses, report preparation, and task management. Ms. Sargent has a strong understanding of restoration, fundamental ecological principles, floral sampling methodologies, data analysis and interpretation, and technical writing.
